Humulene: Woody & Relief

Alpha-Humulene (formerly known as α-caryophyllene) is a monocyclic sesquiterpene isomeric with beta-caryophyllene. It is found in high concentrations in the flowering cones of hops, giving beers their distinct earthy and hoppy aroma.

Unlike many other common cannabis terpenes, Humulene acts as a mild anorectic (appetite suppressor). It interacts with satiety pathways to signal comfort and fullness, counteracting the intense hunger cravings ('the munchies') frequently associated with certain cannabinoid profiles.
